The Department

The Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC Minas) created the Department of International Relations in 2002 (Chancellor Office Order 012/2002). The Department aims to teach, research and perform social outreach activities within International Relations field at the university. It constantly quests for excellence in fulfilling its aims through its qualified staff involvement in projects both at undergraduate and graduate levels. Therefore, PUC Minas Department of International Relations has played an important role at Brazilian academic landscape since its onset. 

Currently, the Department of International Relations provides undergraduate programs at three different PUC Minas campi – Coração Eucarístico and Liberty Square (Belo Horizonte); and Poços de Caldas. It also offers a graduate program in International Relations at master and doctoral degrees.
